FULL ATTENTION.
TRUE TO YOU.

One person. Two focused services. A commitment to doing good work for the people who trust me with theirs.

Mike, the founder of Hineni, wearing a barongMIKE / TALLAHASSEE, FL

HELLO. I’M MIKE.

I build the things
I wish we’d had.

I build websites and focused software for churches, nonprofits, and businesses, with an emphasis on clear communication and practical tools.

I’ve sat on the other side of the church office, wrangling the website, the slides, the bulletin, and the technology that never quite works. That experience shapes what I build and how I work.

I’d rather tell you honestly what helps than sell you something you don’t need. Your project gets my full attention, from the first conversation through the details after launch.

If that’s the kind of help you want, the first conversation is free.

POWERFUL TOOLS. PRACTICAL JUDGMENT.

AI can sound certain.
Even when it’s wrong.

AI can offer a polished, confident explanation built on a wrong assumption. If you don’t know what to question, that mistake can become the foundation of your project.

I use AI too. The value I bring is the judgment to challenge a recommendation, understand your situation, and check the work before asking you to rely on it.

  1. Experience behind the questions.

My work in church administration and technology shapes how I approach your project: who will use it, what could go wrong, and whether it makes everyday work easier.

  2. Direction before speed.

Even powerful AI with research tools can miss context or get things wrong. I work with you to check assumptions and choose an approach that fits your needs, budget, and workflow.

  3. Evidence before confidence.

A quote tool can look finished and still calculate the wrong price. I test custom software against real examples with agreed expected results. I question my own assumptions, too.

You’re hiring me to question the answers, steer the project, and take responsibility for the work we agree to deliver.

Anthropic documents errors that can persist in advanced models, even with safeguards. IBM’s AI research leader explains why expertise, verification, and direction still matter when using these tools.
